This situation has to be stopped immediately in order to put an end to the bloodshed in the Sultanate of Oman by the Sultan of this country through his speech via his TV or his appearance in public to his people anyways one of these means are really indispensable for Ruler to contact his people . On the other hand, sending delegates won't help as long as the people are discontent with them except the Sultan.....
Since the eruption of these peace-loving marches and sit-ins the Sultan Qaboos has never spoken to Omani people so that he can put a conclusion to the looses of lives, personal and public properties,not by using force of both military and riot police, firstly to clear out them from their venue,secondly to arrest people from their homes and throw them in custody.
Oman is not a unique state it is like other countries.Thus Sultan should put his people superior to anything else.
On Friday the first of April which was yesterday, there was a peaceful march that had no other intention or purpose than to ask for the release of as many as 360 detainees arrested from their homes by the government troops and police in Sohar city at 3:00 AM accusing them of inciting people to attack some government buildings subsequently the work of these government institutions has been affected.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Al Hinai, Justice Minister envoy of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to the protesters in the province of Dhofar.
in the arena of Dhofar sit-in outside the office of minister of state and governor of Dhofar there was a meeting at 5:00PM on Friday evening to discuss with protesters the ongoing circumstances between the government and the people of Oman.
Having welcoming him by the protesters he started the meeting by telling people that he is a commissioner from the Sultan to calm down people and convince them to break up the sit-in because the Sultan has received all demands, but these demands have to undergo studies in order to implement them.
One of the protester asked the minister this precise question three time consecutively : Did the Sultan send you to break up this sit-in? the minister did not answer trying to escape to talk about useless things........
Any way, after all, he left the place with out achieving anything and the protesters still in there tents till all demands are met one by one.......
