The Omani people have been revealing their dissatisfaction for the first time in Oman's history through their long standing and tiring sit-ins across the country demanding basic rights as citizens. We can see slogans, banners fixed in their sit-ins as well as their yellings on Fridays' marches for changes escorted with violence particularly when police-riots and military have encountered them specifically in Sohar city located 200km west of the capital Muscat for the past 44 days.
However there have been no convincing decrees nor amendments from HM the Sultan that have pleased them thus far in order to give up the current scenario.
The answer to the following question is the core point to solve all these problems:
Why hasn't the Sultan addressed his people so far note that, he is the only one can bring the country to its previous trend in terms of peace and security?
My personal opinion to this question is that, the Sultan wants to know the real reaction of the people against his ministers, delegates and security forces comparing it with the situation after his death-God forbid- asking himself many WH questions searching for answers to ensure the safety and stability of the country after his departure from this World.
That's really wise of him if he is studying what the situation going to be now and then......
The coming few days will show us the new amendments in the country's constitution also all the answers of HM to the ongoing lessons.......
