His Majesty Sultan Qaboos chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Hisn Ash’shumookh castle yesterday.
We have been receiving good and positive results from the Sultan since the uprising of Omani people whom were known as the quietest people ever exist,,,,,thanks to the prompt of international media with all its means that has been on the side of change,,,,,Thanks also to the Sultan on all his positive and patient stands with his people......we can't ignore his work despite of our harsh critics some times....
The Sultan has been studying the demands with his cabinet carefully since he received them from scattered places of sit-ins across the country.
He, the Sultan has ordered the establishment of a new state University for scientific specializations so that it can work with the previous one to accommodate the increasing numbers of high school graduates of both genders annually. Note that there is only one state university and this one is going to be the second....also the approval of having an Islamic bank...
There are some other directives:
1-Support training programs and rehabilitation.
2-Expansion of technical colleges so that they can open new horizons for the people to join the work in order to have good living standards.
3-Develop work and facilitate procedures for citizens in terms of their transactions and to give importance which it deserves to all the administrative regions of the Sultanate.
4-Studies for the establishment of provincial councils and municipalities.
